Shok1 Painting in China Censored

In July the graffiti artist Shok1 painted a large mural in China that the government did not approve of. There was talks of the painting being censored. This is how they decided to censor the painting, turning the noose into hooks with two large fish.

A friend sent me a photo of what the Chinese government actually did to my painting. They said they were going to paint it out. For me this is far worse.
