The documentary “Luz Câmera Pichação” tells the story of Pichação culture in Brazil. PichaÇÃo is a form of street art that differs from traditional graffiti we know in North America. PichaÇÃo deals more with political issues rather than artistic expression, so for the people in Brazil it’s concerned a very important form of art (it essential gives a voice to the people who tend be overlooked by politicians and the wealthy).

There’s a screening being held at the Wosk Centre for Dialogue, Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver, BC. The screening is on May 6th, 2011.
