Canada Post Aims To Stop Graffiti
Thursday, August 12, 2010These new mail boxes have been popping up around various cities across Canada. The idea of the new design is to prevent graffiti from happening on the mail boxes.
“The design is busier and this helps to discourage graffiti,” said Teresa Williams, Canada Post spokeswoman. “Most graffiti artists like a plain and featureless surface to do their work.”

yeah real nice, but what happens when they try to buff it? not very thought out imo.
I’m going to be getting around this summer with a paint marker writing my favorite postal code of all – V4G 1NA – in larger bright letters over top of their new design! Look for it , Summer 2011, In Edmonton!
What’s the point in doing that? Why not write you address?
