Tattoo Tuesday No. 12
Tuesday, February 10, 2009
For this week’s Tattoo Tuesday we’ve chosen a tattoo of a Japanese Maple Tree. This is not only a really nice tattoo but it also has to be one of the most painful places to get tattooed.

okay so you say that you chose a japanese maple tree!!!right? well are you japanese and that not the most painfull palces to get a tatoo i have tatoos going all around me above my waist but below my chest and it didnt hurt me at all!!!!
You must be a hero because the rib cage is quite sensetive. Learn how to spell Tattoo.
Yea, I def. agree that that’s the most painful spot to do one. The only things that comes close are the areas at the top of the hip and the sternum.
Very nice coloring and design flow. And the question stating are u japanese! You don’t have to be japanese to get a japanese style tattoo or anything relevant to japanese art.
first of all, yes awesome tattoo, but did the artist even look at a japanese maple leaf tree? they are far from pink. they actually look like a billion pot leaves over a tree. but props for the effort.
Who knows, maybe the girl wanted pink in the tattoo. It’s a sick tattoo either way.
Actually, looks much more like a cherry tree. Clearly not maple leaves.
Definitely a cherry tree, not a maple tree. Reasonably well done.
Wow, wish my gf had a tattoo like that…real nice.
Agree that it seems more like a Prunus Mume (japanese apricot). The Japanese name is ume (kanji: ?; hiragana: ??). Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prunus_mume#Cultural_significance
