Aksoe Interview
Where does the name Aksoe come from?
Aksoe: Well I wrote down the alphabet circled the letters i enjoyed writing and put them in a order that sounded reasonable.
Did you paint any names before sticking with Aksoe?
Aksoe: Yeah nothing worth mentioning though.
How long have you been doing graffiti for?
Aksoe: Five years ish?
What first influenced you to start doing graffiti?
Aksoe: I was always really into art and i met a friend in high school that introduced me to tagging.
Do you remember your first piece? Can you tell us about it?
Aksoe: Wow my first piece ahaha sizzling colors is noooo good.
Out of all the pieces you’ve done is there a particular one you can
call a favorite?
Aksoe: Hmm probably the green one from last spring I did with intro at the western.
Being color blind, how do you know which colors work together? Do you
have any special techniques?
Aksoe: Well I’m green red color blind so i have it pretty easy… but I figure it out mathematically allot if I’m using acrylics. And just basic color theory for spray paint seeing how the cans are labeled.
Do you have a favorite color you prefer using?
Aksoe: Hmmmm probably party yellow or night red?
What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen or experienced while out painting?
Aksoe: A deer got smoked by a car crossing the street about five feet away from me one time while I was walking to a friends car.
Do you have any good chase stories you’d like to share with us?
Aksoe: Not really, been fortunate enough to have always escaped.
Who’s graffiti are you feeling these days?
Aksoe: 7th Letter stuff.
What kind of things have you been working on lately?
Aksoe: Top secret.
What can we expect to see from you in the future?
Aksoe: Bigger better more technical
