Saskatoon is hosting another Summer Fling graffiti and rap festival this July. The event will feature a graffiti artists painting 150 foot wall. PaperMonster has returned in a big way opening his doors to any and all commissions from his fans. He has created a special commission request window from May 1st to May 7th. Anyone and everyone can finally have a chance to score an original work of art based on their own concepts/ideas that works within their personal art budget. All of the works created will be documented and photographed to be compiled for a future book project from PaperMonster.

A Bomb in a Bowl will contain submissions from the artists Tony Alva, Christian Hosoi, Steve Caballero, Jake Brown, Mimi Knoop, Risk, Nathan Ota, Esao Andrews, Joshua Petker, Nomad, Richard Villa Iii and more.

A Bomb in a Bowl will open on Saturday, November 30th, 2013 at Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles, CA.

November 30th, 2013 in Edmonton there’s a graffiti art show at the Sun and Moon Visionaries. The show starts at 1PM.

Write of Passage is a month long educational program that examines the history and evolution of American graffiti and its impact on global culture. Curated by Sacha Jenkins – noted graffiti historian and Mass Appeal, a culture enthusiast magazine – “Write of Passage” includes panels, workshops, screenings and public exhibitions around graffiti. Housed at Red Bull Studios New York, the programming includes legendary graffiti artists and influential figures like Jonathan Levine, Cost, CLAW, Futura, Daze, KR and Greg “SP” Lamarche, fostering intelligent and critical dialog around graffiti, an often misunderstood and mischaracterized art form. Programming will also feature a public art exhibit and installation celebrating graffiti’s origins and influences including rare collaborative canvasses, vintage apparel and over 100 original graffiti artifacts.

Write of Passage (a program made possible by Red Bull Studio NY) is hosting a graffiti event tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, 2013 in New York City. The event is called “Piece Out” and will feature graffiti writers painting a subway car at the Trolley Museum of New York. The painting will kick off at 1pm and run till 7pm.

September 3, 2013 in Toronto, Evond Blake aka MEDIAH is opening his 6th installment of Decimals Rebuilt. This installation entitled HYPURITIDE will be presented at Only One Gallery, 88 Harbord Street. The show will run until October 5, 2013 with a private, invite-only media night on September 19, 2013.

This Friday, August 16th, 2013 in Vancouver the group art show “We Come From Mars” opens at Ayden Gallery. The exhibit will feature new artwork from the artists Dedos, Ben Tour, Scott Sueme, Gris, Pez, Kaput, Dj Lu and Toxicomano. The opening reception runs from 7pm to 11pm.
