KAWS has returned to Philadelphia with another huge installation, this time mounted on the long vacant plinth of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Born To Bend will remain on the front facade from October 12th through August of 2014. His expansive and breathtaking exhibit will be displayed in the galleries from October 12 through January 5, 2014. The accompanying video is a peek at the opening night’s ceremony, with some commentary by the artist.

Here’s a video interview with the artist KAWS about his Companion balloon in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

The graffiti artist KAWS currently has his artwork running inside and out of the New York subway cars. As part of the publicity for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade KAWS was asked to paint some of the subway cars.
