Revok’s Arrest on ABC7 News
Saturday, November 28, 2009ABC7 News reports on the graffiti writer Revok’s recent arrest in LA. Revok was arrested while painting at a gallery event at 33ird Gallery in LA. The owner of the store, Matthew Stibbe paid Revok a thousand dollars to show up and paint at the event. In the news clip he claims he never paid or asked Revok to come out to the gallery.
This is what Revok has to say:
-Children are being abused, Women are being raped/killed… Meanwhile 8 police getting overtime pay to harass me for trying to make a HONEST living.

YOU DID PAY US*** -Or may accurately YOU STILL OWE US $$$. -This was a perfect opportunity for you to step forward and defend not only myself, but the movement as a whole and the legitimacy of your business… instead you choose to bow down like a coward in the face of a little bit of pressure and LIE. -denying any support of us. Fuck you and your store.

I second that comment. I repect Revok’s trying to make a living. I guess you just have to watch out for snakes. This guy was just trying to build a rep off our art. He’s a pussy. I just read that he “apologized” and retracted his statement. Like saying sorry is going to help Revok. Mad props to Revok. Fuck that dude at 33ird.
