In an episode of the animated television show Futurama the robot character Bender puts up his street art around the city. The tile artwork is exactly like the artist Space Invader. The episode also features a Shepard Fairey Obama style poster of Nixon.

On February 21, 2009, an advertising firm handed Poster Boy a MoMA jacket and gave him free range of the MoMA branded Atlantic-Pacific subway station in New York. Turns out the firm wasn’t supposed to do that, and MoMA fired them.

Improv Everywhere has released their latest prank. For this particular prank they had several hundred people that spent a day at Coney Island / Brighton Beach wearing black tie attire.

Here’s a video of a recent graffiti battle that took place between the graffiti writers Ces and Serve. The battle was held in the back of Tuff City tattoos in the Bronx.

After a year in the making, here’s the official trailer for the documentary To Live & Ride in LA. The documentary focuses on LA’s underground fixed-gear culture. It’s directed by David Rowe (Fast Friday), the documentary explores a side of Los Angeles few outsiders have ever seen.
