Here’s an interesting video of a stencil in Calgary, Alberta created by the street artist Doppelgangr.
Stephen Harper Troop Escaped the Buff
The stencil artist Posterchild recently painted a this stencil of one of Stephen Harper’s troops on a wall in Toronto after the G20. City workers have been by the wall to buff graffiti but only buffed the graffiti that was around this particular piece. The workers must have enjoyed the painting or agreed with the message.
Banksy No Love in Toronto
At the start of summer Toronto was graced with some Banksy stencils on it’s walls. His paintings didn’t last long and caused some interesting things to happen to the paintings. Either they were buffed or dissed. Here’s one of Banksy’s rats painted on Spadina in Toronto. Someone has recently written “No Love” over the stencil.
Labrona Visits LA
The Montreal based graffiti artist recently visited Los Angeles. Here are a few photos of his work he put up while he was there.
Obey’s Mr. Spray
Shepard Fairey has teamed up with the toy company Strangeco to create this new Obey toy called “Mr. Spray”. This limited edition vinyl figure was based off a design created by Shepard Fairey in 2004. Mr. Spray is available to purchase from Strangeco for $84.99.
