Phresha has been deep in the Canadian street art scene for a decade. She has travelled all across Canada with her work and the Show & Tell Gallery are pleased to be hosting her homecoming show, featuring all new art. Also, Show & Tell Gallery will be releasing the next 2 in a series of limited edition artists prints in conjunction with the show. The artwork will be listed on the Show & Tell Gallery site after the opening.
Check out this video of the art project called “Electric Windows”. Electric Windows brought together 24 street artists from all over the world to create a semi-permanent installation of large-scale work exhibited on the exterior windows of a 19th century blanket factory in Beacon, NY.

GelaSkins is putting on the Bomb It The Movie premiere in Toronto at the Bloor Cinema on Friday July 11th. If anyone is interested in purchasing tickets GelaSkins has a site dedicated to promoting the event: www.gelaskins.com/bombit. Check it out for more information.
GelaSkins also has some of the artists from Bomb It creating their art on skins for iPods, phones, laptops and more electronic gadgets. They are available to purchase on the GelaSkins site.

In Toronto July 5th and 6th at the Harbourfront Centre there is a live graffiti battle featuring Toronto’s most talented graffiti artists, competing for a cash prize of $500 dollars. The competition will consist of four two-person teams painting a single canvas. Submissions for the contest have to be sent in by July 1st. Send submissions to horus@themanifesto.ca
