Shriiimp has announced a new graffiti on girls contest. This contest hasn’t been sponsored so it’s all for the fame. The word to write is “Shriiimp” and the closing date for submissions is March 1st, 2012. Check out more of the details at Shriiimp.com.

Contest rules:

Unlimited entry (you can participate more than once, as long as the work you present is different from the one previously submitted)

2 pictures MAX by entry

Each picture will be judged on these criterias: Production quality, Model, Picture, Respect of the theme and word(s).

You agree to NOT post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.

Photoshop/credit/watermark pictures will not be accepted.

Bombing Science is hosting a new sketch battle contest. The battle will be judged by the Montreal-based graffiti writer Killa-EF.

“It’s all about style. I will be judging this sketch battle by the most important aspect of graffiti; the letter form. Characters are optional as they will not affect the final decision, they will not increase your chances of winning. In order to strenghted the letter form theme, the use of colors will not be allowed.”

We had announced the Shriiimp and Bombing Science graffiti on girls contest awhile back. Now here’s the winner of the contest. The graffiti artist Spek won first place with his graffiti on the female model above. Check out more of the entries at Shriiimp.

Bombing Science has a chance to win 20 free graffiti magazines. All you have to do is subscribe to their newsletter and you’ll be entered into the draw.

This is the second contest Shriiimp and Bombing Science have put on together. For this round of the Shriiimp graffiti on girls contest you have to write the words “Bombing Science”. The submissions for the contest are due Wednesday, June 1st, 2011. The prizes for the winners are: 1st place: a US$100 gift certificate to the Bombing Science Shop. 2nd place: a US$50 gift certificate to the Bombing Science Shop. 3rd place: a US$25 gift certificate to the Bombing Science Shop. The indoor Edge BMX and Skateboard park in Mason, Michigan is hosting a graffiti contest. All designs have to be in by March 25th, 2011. Prizes will be awarded to the top ten designs. The grand prize is 500 dollars cash. For more details check out www.edgebmxskate.com.

This is the second Boogie Bird contest that the artist Chor Boogie is holding. There are five Boogie Bird paintings available to win. Each is valued at $100.00. To enter the contest you need to post a picture of art or an artist that is of interest to you on Chor Boogie’s Facebook Fan Page. Here’s a chance for all you artists to show off your talent. We have put together a contest with Bombing Science to design a full page advertisement for Senses Lost that will be featured in the February edition of Bombing Science’s online magazine. The winner of the contest will also receive prints of the artwork, a Senses Lost t-shirt and stickers.

Details:

The advertisement design can be created using any medium you prefer. Feel free to use a computer, sketches, paintings or photographs. The dimensions of the advertisement would be the A4 format which is 8.27 X 11.69 inches in size. The design needs to include the words “Senses Lost” somewhere in the artwork.

The Senses Lost advertisement will be used to promote the website. We’re looking for your artwork to help showcase what Senses Lost is all about.

Feel free to submit as many different designs as you’d like. The deadline for submissions is February 10th, 2011.

The Jarritos Flavor City Art Contest: “Drink Out Loud” is looking for innovative Angelenos to describe what Jarritos means to you. We are looking for artists of all ages to develop eye-catching works of art in any medium to express the flavor and experience of Jarritos. Each art submission must incorporate the “Drink out Loud” slogan logo and at least one of the eleven Jarritos flavors. (fruit punch, grapefruit, guava, hibiscus, lime, mandarin, pineapple, strawberry, tamarind, mango, lemon-lime).
