Alice in Wonderland Themed Freight Graffiti

Here’s an impressive piece of graffiti done on a BC Rail boxcar in 2008. This Alice in Wonderland themed freight was unfortunately dismantled for scrap metal. Luckily the photographer md11forever had a chance to catch photos of the boxcar before it was ripped apart. He also caught photos of it dismantled.

Another sad reminder of better times.

I’d like to add it to something I posted this morning on The Legislature Raids which is focused entirely on BC Rail and the resulting BC Supreme Court trial as to how it slid from public ownership into private pockets. The government still keeps the agreement mostly secret.

Thank you for showing us this photo. I wonder what was going through the graffiti-artist’s mind, while painting that BCRail boxcar.
