Vigilantes: Closer to Graffiti Artists Than You Think

Dan James has writen a very interesting article on Bombing Science. The article looks into the people who are against graffiti so much that they take the law into their own hands. The article makes some compelling points. These vigilantes are so against graffiti that by taking it into their own hands they use spray paint to write over top of an artist’s painting. In doing so they have become exactly what they hate, they are now considered by the law, a graffiti writer.

The article also discusses how as a graffiti artist you should try and not take offense when you’re art has been dissed. You should think just the opposite and be happy that your art got someones attention, so much that they had to paint their own.
