The Winnipeg Art Gallery is the first stop for the Post Secret exhibit by Frank Warren on it’s North American tour. The exhibit is at the Winnipeg Art Gallery from November 24th to February 3rd 2008. Frank Warren invited people at Metro stations, art galleries, and used book shops to submit a secret anonymously on a postcard and mail it to him. The secret had to be true, and it had to be something that had never been shared with another person. Within a month Warren received more than 150 postcards. These initial secrets were displayed at an art exhibition in Washington, D.C. Even after the exhibt had closed he was still receiving more. To date, Warren has been mailed more than 100,000 postcards and continues to receive almost 1,000 postcards every week.
